Ziff Davis Publishing Company Offices
New York, NY
The headquarters of a publishing company occupying five floors of a 1920's Manhattan office building. The focal point in the main reception area is a large black and white photo mural of the first working computer. This sets the stage for the rest of the facility where historic photos documenting the early development of computers are displayed and serve as a contrast to the frenetic fast pace characteristic of the industry. The wood clad stairs create a rectilinear element which contrasts with the vaulted ceiling reception area.
