Townhouse

New York, NY

For clients whose favorite artistic periods were Austrian Secession and Wiener Werkstatte, styles that have been infused into the renovation of this typical 1880's New York townhouse. Following the character of a NY townhome we reintroduced the typical parlors, vestibules, stairs and features such as large sliding doors. Inspired by Klimt, Olbrich, and Hoffman, the  doors are custom-made steelwork and stained glass paired with nickel-plated light fixtures. The use of  various flooring, ceiling moldings, colored tiles, and intricate details bring to mind the spirit of the period.
