The heart of the design is a large, fully equipped, central conference room designated to accommodate a variety of events from multi-national conferences to dinner receptions. MCA's solution was to develop a modern version of the typical Arabic repetitive geometry and use it as a glass enclosure for the conference room. The design allows  natural daylight  to filter into the space while at night, the space glows and  replicates a giant lantern creating spectacular visual effects.
