The Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Thailand to the UN

Recently completed this near century old building in the heart of midtown has been renovated to become a state of the art facility for the Mission of the Kingdom of Thailand to the UN.

The project features all new interiors, state of the art (and energy saving) lighting and audio visual systems, and a custom designed event space with a new grand stairway to the existing rear terrace.

​

The existing street facing facade has been meticulously cleaned while the rear facade has been completely removed and replaced with a new curtain wall. The new glass facade features the latest in energy saving glazing technology while making a visual statement with a unique golden abstracted pattern that recalls the Thai lotus flower. The glass allows light into the previously dark and drab interior, creating a much more pleasant environment for office users.
