A renovation of a 2,000 sq. ft. lobby by Morris Lapidus. The new design replaced a previous modernist, minimalist renovation that had eliminated all of the visual exuberance typical of the original architect.The new lobby is a contemporary interpretation of the lush sculptural forms and sumptuous materials associated with some of the original architect's more well-known works like the Eden Roc or Fontainebleau Hotels.
